Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Owji referred to the world’s need for more Iranian oil and stated: “As a major producer of oil and petroleum products, we are always ready to play our role in providing oil and gas away from politics and help improve energy security in the world,” the Iran’s Oil Ministry News Agency reported on Monday.

He added: “The current market conditions needed “careful consideration” and that cooperation within the oil alliance was helping global consumers.”

Owji said: “From the point of view of technical and practical issues, the joint technical committee (JTC) of OPEC+ in its base scenario has predicted that the excess supply to global demand for oil in 2022 will be 400,000 barrels per day, which is about 600,000 barrels per day less than the previous month’s forecast.”/Iranoilgas
